It established a new luxury paradigm with its beauty and functional advantages.
Locate the Location
DOM-INNO SUR RONG is located in Uttara which is undoubtedly one of Dhaka’s most note-worthy residential construction districts. Few places can claim to have such a diverse range of respectable organizations, banks, hospitals, schools, cafes, shopping malls, and other key features within walking distance. More specifically, it is very near Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Uttara Sector 4 Park, The Aga Khan School, the Asian International School, different banks, etc. It is quite near to Azampur bus stand on one side and on the other side Airport Railway station. It is a place where residents are surrounded by every type of accommodation.
Brilliance and Beauty of Form
DOM-INNO SUR RONG stands gracefully in the serene neighborhood of Uttara, embodying a harmonious blend of bold architectural design and thoughtful spatial planning. The building’s strong, solid form is gracefully softened by strategically placed voids, creating a dynamic balance between solidity and openness. The semi-outdoor balconies provide an inviting break from the structure’s solidity, enhancing the interplay of light and shadow while offering a seamless connection to the surrounding environment. The extended cantilevers elegantly extend beyond the traditional column-beam framework, lending the structure a sense of lightness and modernity.
Break out the Traditional Volume
Residential buildings tend to be orthogonal is the philosophy of the majority. Dom- INNO SUR-RONG tried to break that philosophy and wanted to start a new structure of free-flowing balcony form. Besides it is known to all that the column must be a hidden structure from the exterior. Here this theme has gone wrong. The column is so integrated with a design that it is exposed as an exterior design material. The angled block of the façade expresses the diversity and individuality of the built form with a distinctive design. The initiative was intended to break the traditional formalities of home patterns and expose the think-out-of-the-box idea.
Stepping Toward the Nature
The balconies of DOM-INNO SUR RONG are designed to reach out toward nature, creating a strong bond between the living spaces and the lush surroundings. These outdoor extensions allow residents to enjoy the tranquility of the natural environment right from their homes, providing a peaceful escape. By extending into the landscape, the balconies gently dissolve the line between indoor and outdoor spaces, promoting a closer connection with the serene green environment. This thoughtful design not only softens the building’s robust form but also underscores a smooth transition from the architectural structure to the natural world, ensuring that each balcony offers a refreshing gateway to the calm and greenery of Uttara.
South View Opening Layout
We all knew about the importance of the southern flow of wind in our country. It creates a relaxing, peaceful wind flow in our house. In the project, the road is south and the design had the opportunity to facilitate the bedroom with southern ventilation. Maximum bedrooms are south faced with have an elongated balcony that provides enough natural light and ventilation. In addition, all balconies are set at the south façade with the brilliant thinking of architecture. Besides its living and dining are open layout schemes allow residents to customize the spaces as their dream ones.
Design in Detail
The architectural essence of DOM-INNO SUR RONG can be explored through its meticulous attention to form, function, and harmony with the environment. The building’s detailed design showcases a balanced interplay between solid and void, with carefully placed openings that create a rhythm across its façade. The integration of semi-outdoor balcony spaces adds depth and dimension, providing residents with personal outdoor retreats that foster a connection with nature. The extended cantilevers are not merely structural elements but serve as visual markers that give the building a sense of lightness and modernity. Each design choice, from the material selection to the volumetric composition, reflects a commitment to creating a living space that is both aesthetically pleasing and functionally efficient. On the other hand, it reflects a deep commitment to considering every detail in the interior, ensuring that no part of the space is overlooked. This careful attention extends to the selection of materials and the design of every feature, large or small. From the machine room and the landscaping on the ground floor to the stair railings, tiles, and rooftop railing, each element is purposefully crafted to ensure both functionality and aesthetic harmony. The meticulous approach even includes the design of door nameplates, all contributing to the project’s overall vision. This comprehensive attention to detail ensures that the building not only operates smoothly but also embodies a sense of refined beauty throughout.
Collaborating Rooftop by Integration of Green
DOM-INNO SUR RONG is a forward-thinking design that harmonizes sustainability with the aesthetic and social needs of the community. By incorporating plants and textured materials into the roofing, this design not only enhances the building’s visual appeal but also provides crucial environmental benefits, such as improved air quality—a particularly important factor in the bustling city of Dhaka. The roof serves as more than just a functional element; it becomes a vibrant communal space where residents can gather, breathe fresh air, and enjoy a natural setting right at home. This thoughtfully designed area transforms the rooftop into the building’s social hub, where children can play, neighbors can come together for various events, and picnics can be enjoyed. In essence, the green roof is designed to be the heart of the building, fostering both community interaction and a healthier urban lifestyle.
Reveal a Novel Spectrum of Beauty by Shade & Shadow
The architecture of the inspirational project reveals a novel spectrum of beauty through the artful play of shade and shadow. By thoughtfully integrating voids, projections, and recessed elements, the building’s design creates a dynamic interplay between light and darkness that evolves throughout the day. As sunlight filters through the semi-outdoor balconies and extended cantilevers, it casts intricate patterns that animate the façade, adding depth and movement to the structure. These subtle variations in light not only enhance the building’s aesthetic appeal but also create a sense of rhythm and balance that resonates with its peaceful surroundings. This careful choreography of shade and shadow transforms the building into a living canvas, where the changing light paints an ever-evolving portrait of architectural beauty.
Inspiring Minimalistic Homestyle with Adaptable Design
This minimalism concept with adaptable design embodies a vision where simplicity meets versatility. This approach celebrates clean lines and uncluttered spaces while offering the flexibility to reconfigure layouts according to changing needs and preferences. By focusing on functional beauty, minimalistic design ensures that every element serves a purpose and every inch of space is utilized effectively. In this setting, open and fluid spaces can easily transform from cozy living areas to dynamic entertaining zones, reflecting the unique lifestyle of its inhabitants. In SUR RONG, the open design of the living and dining areas exemplifies this strategy, offering adaptable layouts that can be tailored to various needs whether for dining, family gatherings, or relaxation. This flexibility in design allows residents to infuse their style into the space while ensuring that every corner of the home is utilized efficiently. By embracing minimalism, the design not only enhances the overall satisfaction of the occupants but also optimizes the use of available space, creating a harmonious and functional living environment.
